How to plant potatoes?
Step 1 - Crumble the soil finely and level it with a rake.
Step 2 - Rake the soil and remove large rocks and clumps from the entire surface.
Step 3 - Create a straight furrow with a cordon.
Step 4 - Make a V-shaped gully 4 inches deep.
Step 5 - Repeat step 3 and 4 at 20 inch intervals, each time.
Step 6 - Place your potatoes at 15 inch intervals in the furrows and then cover them.
NB- For best results, sprout the potatoes before planting.
How do you sprout potatoes?
